Support to innovative businesses: helping thinkers think.

KRIC seeks to provide information resources, business development support and strategic networking opportunities to innovative companies. KRIC links innovative companies with regional, provincial and national business support agencies. It helps facilitate partnerships for local companies with research/tech-transfer institutions; sources of funding and industry associations.

The Council provides on-the-ground programs that support the unique needs of science, technology and innovative businesses. Programs such as MentorMatch provide useful opportunities for regional companies to learn business strategies and develop new opportunities for their businesses. The Council hosts events and seeks networking opportunities that are focused on meeting the needs of innovative businesses. KRIC also promotes networking through partner organizations such as the BC Technology Industries Association.
