Impassioned advocates for maintaining the integrity of mountain culture, and environmental preservation, Pat and Baiba Morrow have forged a career over the past 35 years that defines digital storytelling. The Morrows have traveled the world with still and video cameras documenting high altitude and latitude expeditions for National Geographic and Discovery Channels, foreign aid projects for CIDA, promotional films for NGOs (hired by humanitarian Greg Mortenson, co-author of Three Cups of Tea, in Pakistan and Afghanistan) and local businesses like Canadian Mountain Holidays. As a mountaineer Pat has forged challenging new routes at home and abroad, while his natural curiosity and keen storytelling sense took him not only to the top of the world as a member of Canada's first Mount Everest expedition in 1982, but also to become the first to climb the highest mountain on each continent.
