CHBA BC membership information session September 9, 2010
The Canadian Home Builders’ Association of British Columbia (CHBA BC), a provincial body representing 1780 member companies throughout BC, invites you to an information session examining the possibility of creating a new regional home builders’ association serving the communities within the Kootenay region.
Working with current CHBA BC members in the area along with other groups and like-minded building industry professionals, we are hosting this membership information session so that we can share our knowledge and understand the interest and support the development of this grassroots professional organization would bring to our industry. Our goal is to build a strong regional group that will represent local interests within the 3-level structure of the Canadian Home Builders’ Association – the leading professional organization for the residential construction industry for 67 years.
This information session is scheduled for 7pm on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at the British Columbia Visitors Centre @ Golden. We will begin with a short presentation on the association from CEO MJ Whitemarsh, and hear from the group already in place and what their vision is of a thriving regional home builders’ association If you work in the residential construction industry as a builder, renovator, supplier, building official, elected official or supporter, we encourage you to come to this short meeting and learn more about CHBA and the benefits you will realize from membership in this growing association.
