Business Coach – Contract Position

The Kootenay Rockies Innovation Council is seeking Business Coach(es) to provide coaching/mentoring services to science, technology and innovation businesses in the East Kootenay Region. This is contract position is based on client need. Billing will be by the hour for services plus reimbursement of travel expenses per KRIC Policy. If desired, this position will also have the opportunity to be networked to the other regional science and innovation councils in the province who may contract you for additional services of the same nature for their clients.

Qualifications: Prior experience providing business coaching and/or mentoring support to businesses. Familiarity with the Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SRED) program, National Research Council (NRC), Trade Commission, Export Canada, Venture Capital, business plan development and other government resources is desirable. The successful applicant must reside in the East Kootenay Region, have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel.
