Podcasts - Free Content when and where you want it

Podcasts aren't new, they'be been around since about 2004, but it's quite interesting that alot of people assume you have to have an iPod to listen to them, or they just haven't heard of them.
 
Well, let's put things straight.
 
A podcast is usually just an mp3 file, so you can listen to a podcast on any computer or mp3 player, which means that you can listen wherever you are really.
 
Most podcasts are free, you just subscribe to a "feed" using a program like iTunes (again free) and then you can transfer the podcasts to the mp3 player of your choice, or just listen to them on your computer.
 
Whatever your business, interest or hobby, you can pretty much guarantee there's a podcast out there for you, that you can enjoy and benefit from, for free.
